The Acme Minitight Seal is a pull tight seal that offers a cost-effective solution for applications where the strength of the seal is not a primary requirement. It is a one-piece polypropylene seal that is ideal for use as a purely indicative yet variable locking length seal.
The Acme standard barcode is a 6 digits Interleaved 2 of 5 or Code 128 with a prefix alpha character in non bar-code format. If an alpha character is required within the barcode, i.e. 6 or more numeric digits plus 1 alpha digits this will be a special code 128 barcode product. Our bar-code can be laser marked on the pastel colours shown below, plus black and white. Other pastel colours are available on request for quantities in excess of 100,000 seals.
The Acme Crimp seal is produced in high grade polypropylene material and is suitable for use on applications where the traditional Lead seals cannot be used. Usually supplied as a loose part ready for use with sealing wire it may also be supplied with a moulded 15cm ‘string, both versions may be supplied without markings or with laser marked consecutive numbering. Effective closure is achieved with the Acme sealing tool YPL 9062 fitted with corrugated dies.
The Acme YP10 seal is manufactured from ABS food grade material; it is ideally suited for use on applications where the traditional lead seal cannot be used. Effective closure of this seal is achieved with the Acme sealing tool YPL9062F10 fitted with flat dies. Suitable for temperatures ranging from -20°C to 110°C (-4°F to 230°F).
The Acme G Lock Seal offers a cost-effective solution for the sealing of garment bags in transit or storage. It is moulded in Acetyl material and can be supplied plain or numbered, with or without the company Logo moulded into the cap head, which if desired, can be of a different colour to the main body for identification.
