The Round Lead Seal is designed with two parallel holes and a knot chamber. During fitting the wire or string is threaded through the two smaller holes and crossed inside the knot chamber before closing with the sealing tool to prevent slippage.

The LS31 Crosshole Lead Seal is designed so the lashed wire is crimped across itself when the seal is closed using the sealing tool. Once crimped the lashed wire cannot be twisted or removed without leaving clear evidence of tampering. To optimize security the dies of the sealing tool can be engraved with characters/numbers/logo to emboss the seal when it is crimped, so giving a reference to the application user.

The LS26 Rectangular Lead Seal has two parallel holes through which the lashed wire is threaded and then secured in position using the Acme sealing tool YPL 9062 fitted with corrugated dies.

Acme Sealing Wire is available in galvanized steel copper and stainless steel and can be supplied on plastic spools or in cut lengths. The wire consists of a centre core wire with a spiral lash wire providing an excellent thread type grip to prevent slippage or removal after closing the seals.

Sealing tools are of chrome plated cast material and are supplied fitted with round dies to allow effective closure of all types of the Acme Lead seals and the YP10 plastic seal. Special corrugated dies are required when closing the plastic Crimp seal and the LS26 Rectangular Lead seal.
